Pair of Two 18th Century French Giltwood Rocaille Mirrors with Girandoles
Grand 18th century French giltwood mirrors with scrolls and girandoles. These mirrors have the original mirror with subtle aging. You can see in the reflection of one photo, the small age spots. Made from wood and gesso, the mirror does have some missing gesso, and shows signs of wear. See photos. Though delicate, they are sturdy, and one shows signs of wear to the girandole. Condition: Good. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. As mentioned, the girandole to the right mirror has missing gesso, iron candlestick is stil in tact, and sturdy. Both mirrors show signs of age, but are in wonderful aged condiiton with signs of age to the mirrors mercury as well.
