This tabletop does detach from the base making it much easier to delivery and take up much less space. Designed by Australian brothers Harrison and Nicholas Condos, Balmain reflects a modern, Minimalist aesthetic. The table’s organic, gently curved lines and plank top are a study in simplicity and finely tuned proportions. Masterfully handcrafted from plantation-grown teak. Handcrafted from sustainably harvested, premium Grade-A teak using mortise-and-Tenon joinery Teak is naturally durable and impervious to sun, rain, frost and snow Natural teak finish is untreated. As it matures, rich oils will surface, appearing as a watermark that can be gently washed away. With exposure to the elements, the finish will weather to a silvery grey within a year. If left uncovered, weathered teak finish will wear away with exposure to the elements. Once the finish has worn off, the furniture will begin to acquire the beautiful silvery-grey patina that is typical of untreated teak. This item is from a previous staging project. Has been used in an outdoor setting.
