Lovely painted French chair in our signature oyster white finish, with subtle distressing, and finished with and antique glazed patina. The frame color is a soft muted greyish tone. The upholstery is done in an antique linen remnant we found on our travels, and is a medium to light flax in color, the back of the chair is done in a burlap to match the arms. The top of the chair features carvings of musical instrument and carved roses. The front of the seat has a laurel wreath carvings with trailing laurel vines around the seat of the chair. The beautiful tall Louis XVI style carved legs are fluted, and the tops almost create a peplum style feather. The chair is very solid and sturdy, and can be used for everyday. Condition: Good. Wear consistent with age and use.
